Coyote...hors du temps is right on the doorstep of the most amazing canyon country, the Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument and Glenn Canyon Recreation Area. Our backyard is the Aquarius Plateau, part of Dixie National Forest, which offers beautiful aspens groves, meadows filled with delicate flowers, and mountain lakes and steams for when the desert gets too hot. |
We are situated in part of the Colorado Plateau on the West side of the Rocky Mountains, where the Anasazis, the Ancient Ones, have left many signs of their presence in the form of ruins, granaries, petroglyphs and pictographs. |
 |
| Meanwhile Capitol Reef, Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks are just an hour or two away. |
 |

This means we are far away from big cities (6hrs to Las Vegas, 5hrs to Salt Lake City). There is no public transportation here, so our guests need to have their own vehicle.
In the heart of this breathtaking landscape, "Coyote...hors du temps" welcomes you just seven miles away from Boulder town, on Hells Backbone road. |
